Martin was a brilliant son and a great brother to his 7 siblings, he was also a great friend to his brother Antony.

Martin what can i say, i , miss you with every bit of my heart. you were a great friend and a real good person to talk to. you meant a great deal to me. god must have wanted an angel and darling he got the very best. darling you have left this world, but you will never die in our hearts. you have always wanted to be a soilder, and one point i told you not to but you were very good at what you did but i never told you how proud i was of you. i will always love you martin, you are still my brave solider. lotsa love Toni xxxxx

my darling son
another year with out you son its not been a good year this year we nearly lost your nanna a few times she went into hospital on christmas eve one of many times this month her stomach closed up so she was rushed down to theatre she is recovering well but she is so frail these days she is hanging on with the cancer. we love you and miss you love from us all all your brothers and sisters miss you lots son and we tell your nephew and your neice all about you they will be very pround of you my son love you always and your always on my mind love from mam xxxxxxxx

You would of been 23 years old now my son, i miss you so much it hurts im finding it very hard with you not being here there is such a gap. you were always needing me to do something or other for you. telling me can you do this for me or that. if you had a problem or needed some one to talk to you rang me or came to see me i was your mum friend and agony aunt. but iwas always there for you. our ian is in full time school in september and ieshaa will be in nursery in september it will hit me hard as im use to haveing them around. you use to cry going into nursery til i came back to pick you up from nursery they wouldnt let me stay when you went into the army you were on the phone everyday asking whats happend whats new and always asked if im ok. your jeanette still gives me a cuddle and tells me she loves me and you miss me i just wish you were here to tell me your self love you loads my darling love from mam xxx
